Christmas Ideas

Aside from Cranium, Taboo, some hopeful snowball fights and many many Christmas cookies; Christmas gifts are a part of this holiday season.

My family isn't doing gifts this year which will help money-wise, but Niall's family still is.

Keel: probably Burts Bees gift pack or Body Shop stuff.

Arlene: MEC gift card

Sandy: MEC or HMV gift card

Ty: house stuff??

Niall... camping stove, sleeping bag, Superbad DVD, The Dark Knight DVD.

Josephine: no idea. Probably not something to wear as that kid has so many clothes.

Amanda: we're exchanging our gifts in the new year, when everything's on sale!

Saturday Soreness... on his part

Today I spent from 10-8pm either in a doctors' office (10-10:30) or at a hospital.
Ni hasn't been feeling great this whole week and I finally convinced him to go get checked out at the doctors'. Which we then were ushered to the Emergency Room...
Abcess on his tonsil. Got it drained and is spending the night in the hospital on an IV.
Am now back at home and feel lonely and also a little scared that I may get this due to it being passed over by breathing... UHOH!

Anyways, our anniversary celebration day has really not worked out so I may as well do some fashion searching to cheer me up.

As we're slowly rolling into the Christmas season (seriously? November went by SO fast)...

I'm almost all set for the cousin's wedding on December 27th. In Ottawa for a week, and I have the dress I'm wearing to the wedding. And the one to the rehearsal dinner...
Both are from Le Chateau. The dinner will be a nude slip covered in black lace, with a scrunched lace cumberbund type deal with a sparkling silver pin. It's also a tie halter.

I got a really cute vintage pin the other day. It's a big chunky pearl with little fake diamonds on either side, and a drop swingy gold piece with another little diamond. Looks cute on this plaid blazer I picked up at Value Village.

- To dye my hair red... what are some good brands for hair dye that would actually WORK on my dark brown hair?
- I'm thinking of some really cozy tshirts in different colours. Wearing more often means less washing means save money! Now I just have to decide which shirt. The ones at Off the Wall are so soft, but most have designs or slogans on them. Bleh. Gap may have some, I shall do an internet search!

Too bad we already have a gorgeous couch and loveseat set, a few table sets (the kitchen one has really funky chairs) and the light in the dining room I already adore.
I guess this means I will have to funky up my desk, make some artwork, and possibly funkify my Walmart mirror. Joy.

Still looking for a massage place. I'm thinking maybe the college here, and then there will be discounts! But can I make Niall come with me? Or maybe a girlie friend.

Well, I've just been slacking a bit on this blog!
Too busy with school, work, and writing report cards for work.
I'm so stiff and sore.
My back has been killing me and I can hardly bend over to put on my boots!

The weather outside is actually kind of nice. Chilly, but at least the sun's shining.
I have to work on my history essay, but I'm hating it. Only 1200 words to go, though!

Niall is in Port Renfrew today and I already miss him.
Can't wait till we've moved into the Troll Den and are able to cook dinners together.

I really want to have a girls' night one of these upcoming weekends. But it may not happen until after exams.

Which are on the 9th, 11th, 13th of December.
Meaning I will miss my Christmas work party. Lame.
